I have a 69 chevelle thats not startin and before this my car started puttin a lil bit?

so i took it to my shop we checked everything it was like theres no gas gettin sucked up but i no there was gas in it and now im stuck wit my chevelle in the shop when i wanna drive it every minute of every hour =) please help i need some advise and tips
