PLEASE HELP-OK did i over react about wat this guy i liked did?

ok so i like his guy and i txted him like every night so tonight i txted him askin if he and his guy friends wanted to go to the movies with me and my friends and he didnt respond so i was like or not lol and he said well i gtg but um i dont get back from camp for awhile so idk and i was like wait and he never responded back so i was like ok well i guess he had to go so i was like goin on with my bidness and then my friend who iam not to proud to call a friend txted me sayin hey do u like .... still and i was like um why and she said cause he just txted me and i was like omg no i dont like hima anymorea and tell him i hate him and tell him never to txt me again and she was like why i thought you guys were good friends and i said well not anymore lol and then i was like cryin and i am still kinda shakin cause i feel like he broke my heart but i feel like i am over reactin am i? and did i do the right thing? o and im only 14 so its like a young love thing
