What would you do if you were a survivor of a worldwide catastrophe that left only few dozen survivors?

This question is based on shows like BBC's " Survivors" , Stephen King's " The Stand", The Omega Man / I Am Legend and other stories. Would you just find the nearest mansion and stockpile supplies, or travel looking for other people to restart society/ fill the loneliness or just wander the world to see things before you die?
