Which is better for resale: Granite tile countertops or Laminate style countertops?

Granite tile is what people use who do not want to spend the money on slab granite. It won't add value at all because potential buyers prefer slab granite. Slab granite is more expensive and should only be used on remodels where it will not seem out of place with the rest of your home. If you're selling, use a good-looking laminate top. Buyers don't mind tearing out less expensive items, but they may p if the cost of new granite is added to the selling price. Especially if they don't like the granite you've selected.
