How to prepare ground for gr seed?

Unless your mower is set way to low, it will go right over them.A few little rocks won't interfere with growing gr. Rake it level. sprinkle your seed out then use a seed starter fertilizer. After that, put some topper over the whole thing. I used Kellogg's Seed Topper but you can use what is available in your area. Make sure it is topper and not top soil,potting soil. The difference is that it holds the moisture in for a long,long time to help the seeds germinate. Keep the seeds moist until you see them sprouting. Then water a little less. I tell you, I'm going to have a whopper of a water bill this month. I just put new seed in myself. Good Luck and I hope it turns out as awesome as mine looks. (Blue Gr)
